Eastern Institute of Technology and Otago Polytechnic are pleased to announce that the 2019 ITP research symposium will be held at Eastern Institute of Technology – Te Aho a Māui on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th April 2019.
The theme of the symposium is community-centred research, demonstrating the key role that New Zealand’s institutes of technology and polytechnics (ITPs) play in ensuring that research has a tangible impact and benefits our communities. We will run a single-stream symposium with an associated exhibition, maximising opportunities for networking between researchers, industry and community stakeholders. We are aiming to run a zero-waste symposium, without single-use plastics and limiting the use of paper.
The call for abstracts is now open. We invite submissions from ITP staff and senior students, encouraging presentations that are “outside the box” to showcase our innovative methods of teaching and research. We welcome presentations and artworks from the creative and performing arts.
Registration is also open. Click here to register.
